Investor Database

Search and filter investors by stage, sector, and more

Investor Database

Capvia's Investor Database helps you find the right investors for your raise. Instead of cold-Googling VCs, you can search a curated database and filter by the criteria that matter — geography, firm type, and investor focus.

Browsing the database

The database has two tabs:

  • Firms — Investment firms, funds, and corporate VCs
  • People — Individual investors and partners

Switch tabs at the top of the page to browse either view.

Searching and filtering

Use the search bar or the filter panel to narrow results by:

  • Firm name — Search by name across firms or the firm each individual works at
  • Country — Filter by the country an investor or firm is based in
  • Market region — Filter by broader region (e.g. North America, EMEA, APAC)
  • Firm type — VC, Corporate VC, Family Office, Accelerator, and other firm categories
  • Investor type — Angel, Partner, Principal, Associate, and other roles

You can also use the AI search to describe what you're looking for in plain language — e.g. "European seed-stage climate VCs" — and Capvia will return relevant matches.

Investor profiles

Each investor profile includes key details to help you evaluate fit:

  • Firm and partner name — Know exactly who to reach out to
  • Portfolio companies — See what they've invested in before
  • Investment thesis — Understand what they look for in deals
  • Contact information — Get the details you need to make the connection

Adding investors to your pipeline

When you find a strong match, you can add an investor directly to your fundraising pipeline:

  1. Click Add to Pipeline on any investor profile
  2. Select which round to associate them with
  3. Choose the starting pipeline stage
  4. The investor is now tracked as an opportunity in your CRM
